'Silent Valley' to 'Lough Shannagh' - Ireland

'Silent Valley' is a reservoir constructed in the 1950's and called 'silent' because no birds live there after they were all frightened away by the noise from the all the explosives used to make it. Its still silent today. Lough 'Shannagh' is a natural mountain lake/lough. 'Slieve Doan' a small conical shaped mountain in the heart of the 'Mourne' mountains.
